The Sickly Krier Family

Yes, we have all been sick -- again. RJ started out with a sinus infection, which progressed into the flu. He was home early this afternoon and was out Tuesday and Wednesday -- you know he is feeling bad if he misses work. I feel so sad for him :( I hate seeing him sick and it happens so rarely, especially to this degree. And little Miss Caroline...what can I say? Sick for what feels like forever, is actually about 6 weeks. I took her to see a different pediatrician who did a chest x-ray to make sure she doesn't have pneumonia. Thank goodness she doesn't. They put her on a "broader" antibiotic but it isn't helping too much. We may be going back in tomorrow. Her cough is just horrible and she is not sleeping well at all.

She is still her little adorable self. Her new trick (in the spirit of Halloween ;) ) is covering her head with a jacket and walking around the house with her hands out in front of her. She obviously can't see a thing and gets a total kick out of it! She will go until she bumps into something then pulls the jacket down and laughs...what a silly girl! She is also adding new words; has learned to catch a ball; blows her nose; goes to get a tissue when her nose is runny; puts folded laundry in her drawers (even if they aren't the right ones!); plays on RJ and me like we're a jungle gym or pony; tries to step over everything; if you say something stinks she puts her finger to her nose and says "shew;" she understands whispering; and you can tell her memory is really kicking in. She can find things from earlier in the day when you ask her where something is. Oh, and she has 8 teeth -- with a big gap between the front 2 :)
We also watched the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and she really seemed to enjoy it, especially considering how much tv/cartoons she doesn't watch.
