15 Months

I can't believe Lilly Catherine is 15 months!  Where has the time gone?!? 

We had her well visit Monday and she is doing great!

-23 pounds, 8 ounces (60%)

-32 inches (90%)

We have been doing the physical therapy for about 5-6 weeks now, and she is making a lot of progress with her gross motor development.  She is now pulling up to standing on everything, including flat surfaces like a wall.  She is cruising on a lot of furniture and in the last week or so has started "transitioning" from holding onto one thing, letting go, and grabbing onto another.  She still scoots frequently, but also crawls normally and is very fast!  I know she wants to walk so badly and chase Caroline down and pull her hair out :)  The therapist is very pleased with her progress up to this point and we will continue her sessions once a week.

Her vocabulary/speech is also growing.  She is a very verbal baby.  95% of the time she is talking in her own little language, but she goes on and on in sentences, pointing, changing her tone, already acting like she's bossing us around.  It will only be a matter of time...Some of the words she says now:

-dada

-doggie

-puppy

-hi

-bye bye

-blueberry

-peek-a-boo

-uh-oh

-baby

And she is also starting to make animal noises, which is just too cute!  Especially the horse and she bounces up and down!
