12 Week Appointment

We had our 12 week appointment today, including an ultrasound. It went well (although long), the baby looks good and the measurements were all "normal." It's amazing how much the baby has grown in a few weeks but I know it is still small! We will find out the gender Dec. 5, but RJ made sure to ask everyone in the office if they could tell anything from the ultrasound -- of course not...and the technician wouldn't even look! I think it's another girl, but I really have no basis for thinking this other than a high heartrate (167). Caroline was always in the 160's and the old wives tale is that girls' rates are higher. And although I haven't had any morning sickness, I have lost 2 pounds -- go figure.
