Renn had his one year check-up and everything went well. He is doing great on meeting all of his milestones and growing well despite the reflux/stomach bacteria/asthma/ENT issues. We also had a follow-up with the gastro doctor about the stomach bacteria he's had and the good news is that we are going to try cutting out the half tab of prevacid at night. So he will get one full tab in the morning, plus his carafate at both morning and night. We are going to try this for the next 3-4 weeks then hopefully stop the carafate. I will be so happy to get off all the meds and hopefully outgrow the reflux, at least the scary part of it.
The ped said he looks great and is definitely a baby on the move!
He took his first independent steps tonight! Not a lot, but still very exciting :)
