Crazy Week

I barely had the time and energy to get the basics done last week, let alone blog. It started off with the remainder of Caroline's cold, which she so kindly passed to me and Lilly Catherine. There is nothing worse than sick babies. Especially little babies...it is so sad. Needless to say, Lilly is not a big fan of the nose bulb. At MDO last week, Caroline fell off a plastic rocking horse that is suspended up off the ground and after her nap time she couldn't walk. She was just crying and screaming, saying, "mommy, leg hurt." So, we took her to the doctor. I mean, she couldn't put any pressure on it and was just sitting in the floor crying :( Luckily she does not have a fracture but does appear to have a sprain and some deep bruising. She is definitely doing better this week, although she still has a limp. Then Friday morning Caroline's nose started bleeding, for no apparent reason. We were painting and all of a sudden she had huge drops of blood coming out of her nose. Seriously?!? It only happened twice and it hasn't happened again, so hopefully that is no longer an issue. Then we decided to go up to Boulder (last minute) on Sunday and walk around. Then, we locked ourselves out of the house. At least the kids were outside with us and not trapped inside...that would have been really bad. So we called a locksmith after RJ tried to get it and he said it would be 1.5 hours! So, we said ok, and in the meantime RJ tried another way to get in and did. At least we weren't waiting outside all morning. And while Boulder was fun to get out and walk around, it is very challenging with a 2 year old. She wants to do everything, run around, and if she doesn't get what she wants it is not pretty. They had a little sprinkler thing set up that kids were running through and we wouldn't let her, so she completely flipped out. Then we took the peak-to-peak back home and stopped at Lookout Mountain. I do not need to go there again. Not a fun road going straight up...so I got a little car sick. Then Caroline had another fit because RJ wouldn't let her have a sucker. I finally gave in, just so she wasn't screaming her head off (RJ said I'm the real sucker :) ).
